Benedictine Health System is a nonprofit senior care provider based in Duluth, Minnesota. The system serves mostly rural and smaller communities across seven states, owning or operating about 40 long-term care facilities, including nursing homes, assisted-living centers, and independent senior housing, and it also offers adult day care, transitional care, and outpatient rehabilitation, often through integrated campuses. It was founded in 1892 and took its present form in 1985. Headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota, the nonprofit employs approximately 8,000 people.
